TA/RIA/Kenkyuin(Research Fellows)

Teaching Assistants (TA), Research Institute Assistants (RIA), and Research Fellows are entitled to use the library throughout the academic year in which you are appointed.

Please follow the instructions below to apply for a library card. The ICU graduate students appointed as TA are asked to use their student ID cards to receive Library services.

<First time application>

Please either visit the Document Supply Center at the Library or fill our the following form and send it as an attached document to dsc(insert an at-mark here)icu.ac.jp. Message subject should be "Library Card (TA/RIA/Kenkyuin)".
You will receive your new library card after 14:00 on the next open day (weekday) after the day of application. You can borrow materials after receiving the library card. If the library is closed on the next day of your application, you will receive your library card on the next open day. If you wish to pick up your library card on Saturday, please apply by Thursday.
If you apply in person, the application form will be accepted, but please note that you will not be able to borrow materials on the day of your application. If you wish to borrow materials on the day of your visit and receive your library card, please send us an application form by e-mail in advance.

<Renewing the card>

Please submit the application form with your library card. Renewals are required yearly during your appointment as a research fellow, a Teaching Assistant, or a Research Institute Assistant at the university.
