Special exhibition, "Where there is no vision the people perish" ‐Hachiro Yuasa & ICU‐

Materials regarding Hachiro Yuasa, from the archives owned by Archives and Special Collections will be exhibited, and a special exhibit focusing on Yuasa’s personality and ideology will be held. By shining a light on Hachiro Yuasa as the first university president, the time of the founding of the university will be surveyed. Also, how the vision that is ICU was understood and realized will be considered. At this time of the 60th anniversary of the founding of the university, it would be wonderful if the exhibit would serve as a catalyst for thinking about the direction in which we should henceforth proceed. Apropos, this exhibit will be held as part of the 60th Anniversary Project.
